Live Session Location

Overview

For each live session you need to specify information about the location. There are two types of locations that you can use, virtual and physical.

Virtual Locations

For a session to be considered virtual it's type field needs to be set to either Virtual Class or Virtual Conference.

This way you will be able to edit the Virtual Location property and set it to the actual URL of the event.

Physical Locations

If the session is of type In Class or Conference you will have to specify the physical location and the venue in which the session will take place .

The physical location can be edited from the Live Session Edit side modal. Just search for a specific city and submit the form.

To edit the venue you will have to use the Venue Card from the Live Session View Page. Just click the add icon button and a select field will appear. Based on the city, and the course requirements, Nifty will filter the list of venues and show you only the ones that meet the conditions.

Venue Statuses

Like trainers, session venues also make use of statuses to signal their state.

Create a Venue

  1. Go to the Resources Page.
  2. Click on the Create button in the top right corner of the page and then select the Create Venue option.
  3. The Create Venue side modal should appear where you can fill out all the inputs and then create the resource.

Edit a Venue

  1. Go to the Resources Page
  2. Search for the venue that you want to edit
  3. In the Venues List table go to the row that you wand to modify and click on the edit Action Icon.
  4. The Edit Venue side modal should appear where you can edit specific fields.

Add a Venue to a Live Session

  1. Go to the Live Session View page
  2. From the Venues Card click on the Add button icon, in the top right part of the card.
  3. A modal with a select input will appear. From there you can search for a specific venue and add them to the session.

Venue Select Filtering Rules

Venues that are from a different city than the session location will not be shown. Venues that have a capacity lower then the session Maximum Participants field will not be shown. Venues that don't comply with the requirements of a session will not be shown.

Change a Venue on a Live Session

  1. From the Live Session View Page, on the Venues Card, click on the More Options icon.
  2. Select the Change option
  3. The same Venue Select Modal, like the one used for adding a venue, will appear.
  4. After submit, the venue will be added on the session in place of the previous one with the status Draft.

Remove Venue from a Live Session

  1. From the Live Session View Page, on the Venues Card, click on the More Options icon.
  2. Select the Remove option
  3. A confirmation dialog will appear. After the confirming the venue will be removed
