Add Learners to a Live Session

Overview

Learners can be added to a session from the Live Session View Page. There is a simple way of doing this and two more complex methods that cover different scenarios.

Besides selecting learners and adding them to the session you can also specify what status the new learners should have.

Step by step guides

Add Learners

1. Go to the Live Session View Page.
2. Click on the Plus icon from the top right corner of the Learners Card to reveal the Add Learners dialog.
3. Search and select the learners that you want to add. The select input searches using the learners' first name, last name and email.
4. If you want you can also specify what status the learners should have.
5. After you have selected the learners you can click on the Add button to complete the process.

Advanced Filtering

1. From the Add Learners Dialog click the Advanced Filtering button
2. A new dialog will open where you will find the same table and filter bar from the Learners List Page.
3. Search for learners using all the available filters like the internal id, custom properties or even learner groups that were previously created.
4. Select the learners that you want to add by clicking on the top checkbox, to select all the visible rows, or on each row checkbox for individual selection.
5. From the row selection menu, click on the Add Learners button
6. You will be directed to the initial dialog with an updated list of learners. To complete the process click the Add button.

Import

1. From the Add Learners Dialog click the Import button
2. If your list of learners comes from something like excel you can leave the first field unchanged.
3. Use the second field to specify what
4. Paste your list of learners in text field.
5. Click the Paste and Add Learners button. The list will be processed and Nifty will search for learners based on the result.
6. After the search process completes you will be directed to the initial dialog. To complete the process click the Add button.
