Elearning
Elearning is part of many organizations learning philosophy and a center piece in Nifty. The platform makes use of elearning courses that can be accessed by learners and tracked through elearning sessions.
An elearning course tells Nifty the content that a learner should access. We offer support for various types of content that can be managed through our services:
- SCORM (The standard way of delivering elearning to your audience. We offer support for all SCORM versions)
- Documents (PDF files)
- Embedded Media (Youtube/Vimeo links)
How it works
In order to make elearning available to your learners you first need to create an elearning course. After that there are two ways that an employee can access the content that you have created. They can either be discovered by them (through a self-drive approach) or you can assign it to them.
Once a learner opens a course an elearning session will be created to track that activity. The session reflects the actual learning process. It is the link between the course and the learner along with activity data like Status, Time Spent or Score.
Learning Channels
There are two channels through which a learner can interact with an eLearning course.
Learning Portal
In the learning portal courses and assignments are available in different sections like dashboard or catalogue. The learner will see various cards from which they can start or resume their learning sessions.
You can notify learners over email about specific elearning courses or learning assignments. The email will include a magic link that will allow learners to access that content without the need for them to login in the platform. This way you can use this functionality without the learning portal.
